Mel Patzwald
is
the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Airline Corporate
Services. Mel has been involved in the aviation and travel industry
for over two decades. Formerly with Lufthansa German Airlines in
management roles for nearly 10 years that took him for lengthy
periods of time to Lima/Peru, Madrid/Spain, Tel Aviv/Israel and of
course Frankfurt/Germany. In Australia for over 13 years where he
initially hooked up with what is probably the fastest growing and
most dynamic travel agency group in the world-Flight Centre. Global
account manager of the year just one of the many awards picked up
during his time with the company, which grew from a small
Australian start-up operation to a global power-house with over
1200 agencies in Australia, New Zealand, UK, China, Hong Kong,
South Africa, Canada and the USA.
Mel then spent the
next 4 years with global giant Worldtravel/BTI as State Manager of
South Australia and the Northern Territory and in a National Sales
Manager role with the number one retail agency in Australia
-Travelscene/American Express PHT.
Arguably one of
the most knowledgeable travel experts in the country and a
sought-after speaker on future developments eg. low-cost carriers,
marketing of
travel,and opportunities in a non-commission environment.He
is passionate about his newest venture and excited by the swag of
support he is receiving.

The Alice Springs to Darwin Railway Project is the largest
infrastructure project undertaken in Australia during the past 50
plus years. ADrail, the design and construction contractor, is a
joint venture between Halliburton/ KelloggBrown & Root Pty Ltd,
John Holland Pty Ltd, Barclay Mowlem Construction Limited and
Macmahon Contractors Pty Ltd. The travel logistics of this enormous
1420 kilometre, $1.4 Billion Dollar project were successfully
secured and managed by a team led by Mel Patzwald during the three
and a half year construction period. After securing the tender,
Mel, on our behalf, negotiated market leading arrangements with
airlines, hotels and car-hire companies. He is a truly driven and
